CO.P.A.P. producers, all certified GLOBALG.A.P. – GRASP, have been engaged in the production of Shallot for several years. It is a local product distinguished by its particular aromatic characteristics.
The Shallot – like the White Garlic from Piacenza and the onions produced by CO.P.A.P. – has always boasted the QC Qualità Controllata brand (Certified Quality) granted to producers that grow the product respecting the guidelines for integrated production, respectful of human health and the environment.
The product is obtained by growing hybrids of oblong and round shallot and is characterised by a route that guarantees its traceability and maintains the original qualitative characteristics.
